How e-Liquids Are Used In e-Cigarettes

The e-liquid is the liquid you use in your vape. E-cigarettes work by sending power from the battery to the coil, heating it up. Coils sit in the tank of your vape, which is the part that holds your e-liquid. Coils are made up of two main component parts, the metal coil and an absorbent wick, usually made from cotton. As the coil heats up, it also heats the e-liquid that has soaked into the wick of the coil. The heat causes the e-juice in the wick to turn into vapour, which then rises through the drip tip (mouthpiece) of your e-cigarette for you to inhale.

Q: What is the meaning of e-liquid?

A: E-liquid is the liquid that is converted into an aerosol by an e-cigarette, or vaping, product. It is typically a mixture of water, food grade flavoring, a choice of nicotine levels, cannabis (THC, CBD), propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerin (VG).

Q: How long does 1 e-liquid last?

A: A 50ml bottle provides between 10,000 - 15,000 puffs (depending on vaping style) and can refill a vape tank 25 times. As 10ml e-liquids typically last for 3000 puffs, you would expect a 50ml e-liquid to last five times longer to provide 15,000 puffs.

Q: Can you freeze vape juice?

A: Keeping the juice in the fridge or (ideally) the freezer will maximise its lifespan. The only problem is that it's harder to keep kids away a fridge or freezer, so you'll either need a lockable box, a high shelf or some vigilant parenting.

Q: How long is vape juice good for after opening?
